As the virtual camera pulls back from the coin the full wireframe structure becomes visible. The surface geometry and texture were captured using structured light scanning. This coin was minted in 449 BCE during the construction of the Parthenon in ancient Athens. The tetradrachma is 22mm in diameter. |
